Dance you can dance:
to my father who left this life a while ago.
Jali:
Mali, the Mandeng people. Their great history and culture, the wonderful music
handed down for centuries by the caste of Jali, whom I deeply respect.
Nakuru Lake:
the lake of flamingoes, in Kenya, victim of a nearby town’s sewerages. The wild
odor of savannah, brought by the wind, sticks in your nares aloof of years and
years.
Gujarat:
the Indian state devastated by bloody clashes of fanaticism. We rarely talk
about it, but people die at thousands... and it’s also fault of us, the whites.
The child who never played:
for a never born baby.
As it is:
not otherwise.
Graceland:
a fleeting encounter, a dream and you wake up at night…
Las Oras:
the time spent with the people you love.
Barish:
peace. First stop all wars! Then we can talk it over.
